30 mesh garnet sand fills the performance gap between the aggressive 16 mesh coarse grade and standard medium-range garnet products. This single-grade almandine garnet is engineered for maintenance blasting projects that demand balanced stripping speed and flexible anchor profile, making it a go-to selection for repeat industrial maintenance contracts.

Unlike wider blended mesh grades, our screened 30 mesh garnet delivers a tighter particle curve. It readily strips medium mill scale, aged alkyd coatings and moderate rust layers, without carving overly deep peaks that waste coating materials. It consistently hits ISO 8501-1 Sa 3 near-white metal cleanliness, generating a reliable 1.8-2.8 mil anchor profile optimized for most epoxy, polyurethane and anti-corrosion primer systems. Its robust grain toughness supports limited recycling in blast cabinet setups, helping operators cut down total abrasive consumption over long runs.

This garnet features low soluble silica and moderate dust output. The controlled dust level maintains good visibility for operators during field blasting, which is a major advantage for open-site maintenance jobs such as factory equipment overhaul and structural touch-up work.
